Hierarchy, Not a very good thing

Everyone has got some level of stupidity or intelligence in them. Someone has less, someone has more. But when many people interact, this level cancels out and comes down to the average of the group. So if average is more than normal that team performs better and if average is less than normal, things do not go down very well.
However If strict hierarchical structure is created then the stupidity level of people at the top tier magnify as much that it almost nullify everyone below them. Then everything comes down to the people or person at the hierarchical crest. If they are intelligent than normal you will succeed and if they are stupid then good luck to you,  and that is less favorable situation for any organisation which aims to grow.

Don't create hierarchy, create a stimulating environment where people can thrive on their potential and can contribute to their fullest.
